This vulnerability is due to an insufficient user authentication mechanism in the REST API. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a request to the REST API of the affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain root privileges on the underlying operating system. |
| A vulnerability in the Data Collection Agent (DCA) feature of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager could allow an authenticated, local attacker to gain DCA user privileges on an affected system. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid vmanage credentials on the affected system.
This vulnerability is due to the presence of a credential file for the DCA user on an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the filesystem as a low-privileged user and reading the file that contains the DCA password from that affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access another affected system and gain DCA user privileges.
Note: Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager releases 20.18 and later are not affected by this vulnerability. |

| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.23.0, in the RLE planar decode path, `planar_decompress_plane_rle()` writes into `pDstData` at `((nYDst+y) * nDstStep) + (4*nXDst) + nChannel` without verifying that `(nYDst+nSrcHeight)` fits in the destination height or that `(nXDst+nSrcWidth)` fits in the destination stride. When `TempFormat != DstFormat`, `pDstData` becomes `planar->pTempData` (sized for the desktop), while `nYDst` is only validated against the **surface** by `is_within_surface()`. A malicious RDP server can exploit this to perform a heap out-of-bounds write with attacker-controlled offset and pixel data on any connecting FreeRDP client. The OOB write reaches up to 132,096 bytes past the temp buffer end, and on the brk heap (desktop ≤ 128×128), an adjacent `NSC_CONTEXT` struct's `decode` function pointer is overwritten with attacker-controlled pixel data — control-flow–relevant corruption (function pointer overwritten) demonstrated under deterministic heap layout (`nsc->decode = 0xFF414141FF414141`). Version 3.23.0 fixes the vulnerability. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40, a heap information disclosure vulnerability exists in ImageMagick's PSD (Adobe Photoshop) format handler. When processing a maliciously crafted PSD file containing ZIP-compressed layer data that decompresses to less than the expected size, uninitialized heap memory is leaked into the output image. Versions 7.1.2-15 and 6.9.13-40 contain a patch. |

In versions up to and including 1.4.1, remote attackers can inject control characters (e.g., %00) into the supi parameter, triggering internal URL parsing errors (net/url: invalid control character). This exposes system-level error details and can be used for service fingerprinting. All deployments of free5GC using the UDM Nudm_UEAU service may be affected. free5gc/udm pull request 75 contains a fix for the issue. No direct workaround is available at the application level. Applying the official patch is recommended. |

| A memory leak flaw was found in Golang in the RSA encrypting/decrypting code, which might lead to a resource exhaustion vulnerability using attacker-controlled inputs. The memory leak happens in github.com/golang-fips/openssl/openssl/rsa.go#L113. The objects leaked are pkey and ctx. That function uses named return parameters to free pkey and ctx if there is an error initializing the context or setting the different properties. All return statements related to error cases follow the "return nil, nil, fail(...)" pattern, meaning that pkey and ctx will be nil inside the deferred function that should free them. |

| The Worry Proof Backup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 0.2.4 via the backup upload functionality. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload a malicious ZIP archive with path traversal sequences to write arbitrary files anywhere on the server, including executable PHP files.
